Bleeding Lipstick: Make-up Tips

Problem Solver: Bleeding Lipstick
'Bleeding' of the lips occurs when the lipstick applied spreads outwards resulting in an unattractive messy outline.
This common make-up mis-hap arises when the product formula is extremely creamy and glossy to the point that even normal body temperature causes it to melt. You can also find this problem rearing its ugly head if fine vertical lines are present around the lip area. This allows the lipstick to seep into them giving the dreaded 'bleeding' lip effect.
To rectify this common problem apply foundation and powder to the lips whilst outlining with a pencil. You may also want to purchase a special fixative to apply before application which will protect and preserve
your colour.
