A Quick Guide To Buffing

A quick guide to buffing
Buffing is often used as an alternative to enameling to stimulate circulation and improve the appearance of the nails. Although this particular procedure is the perfect manicure technique for regular nail biters, it also has the added benefits of successfully removing any signs of superficial ridges and stains from the nail plate, while offering the perfect alternative to anyone who suffers from an allergy to nail enamel.

As buffing paste spreads so easily only a tiny amount needs to be applied to prevent the paste from spreading to the skin tissue located either side of the nail. It is vital to ensure that the technique used is performed of a moderate speed in one direction only. From the matrix (the area situated immediately below the cuticle) to the free edge (the extension of the nail plate filed to form its shape) until a shiny appearance is produced. This will prevent any damage to the matrix and minimize the risk of drying the nail out through a build up of heat.
Always remember that buffing is used as an alternative to nail enamel. Not as well as!!
