Know Your Nail Enamel
We've all spent what feels like hours debating over what shade will ensure our talons look immaculately polished to perfection, but did you know that the statement hot fuchsia pink you've been drooling over may draw attention for all the wrong reasons?
Today we take a brief look at the effects different coloured nail enamel has on our skin and nails and, who should avoid them...
Brights
Vibrant shades are designed to make a statement. Clients who suffer from arthritis or any visible skin or, nail condition should avoid the application of this particular enamel in the prevention of drawing attention to the hands.
Dark
Similar to the effect of a little black dress, dark nail enamel will only make a small nail plate appear even smaller. A real no no for regular nail biters!!
Beige
If you suffer from poor circulation be sure to avoid orange, peach and beige-toned enamel. These particular shades will only emphasize the bluish tinge caused by poor blood circulation to the hands.
Pearl
Pearl enamels contain reflective properties which work by actively emphasizing any visible imperfections of the nail. Therefore, these particular formulas are unsuitable for clients looking to successfully disguise their flaws.
