Although this simple solution may not pin point the underlying psychological problem behind your bingeing behaviour, turning to your toothbrush as opposed to tasty treats during times of temptation will not only allow you to sustain the self discipline not to succumb to the sweet stuff by buying you some time to think sensibly about your abnormal actions - it will prevent you from scoffing everything in sight in the spur of the moment - but create a minty mouth that will make bingeing on the calorie fuelled food that contributes to a bothersome body the last thing on your mind.
