Dixie Loves: Avon Clearskin Professional Deep Pore Cleansing Scrub
A troublesome t-zone, spot prone skin and a complexion that resembles a battlefield of blemishes are just a selection of the common complaints that stem from our skincare struggles - unless we own Avon's Clearskin Professional Deep Pore Cleansing Scrub that is!
Bursting with zit zapping ingredients such as salicylic acid - and glycolic acid to exfoliate and eliminate scaly skin - this spot soothing scrub not only ousts the oil that triggers a troublesome t-zone, but prevents the painful pimples that leave us prone to picking and spreading stubborn spots.
In fact, as a self confessed sufferer of problematic skin that's susceptible to sensitivity, this is the only pimple preventing product that doesn't subject my skin to the long-term irritation and inflammation that instantly intensify my insecurities surrounding my already sore spots - a common complaint connected to the chemically enhanced products that promise to banish our bothersome blemishes.
If you're struggling to find your spotty skin saviour, head over to http://avonshop.co.uk/beauty/b/skincare/clearskin.html where you can view the full Clearskin range - including the incredible Clearskin Professional Deep Pore Cleansing Scrub which is currently on offer at £3 (normally £5).
Top tip: salicylic acid is not suitable for all skin types and like most breakout busters, can leave skin susceptible to temporary redness and inflammation after use. Although I did experience this problem with Avon's Clearskin scrub, any redness and/or inflammation subsided within minutes and I now have no problems with this product in terms of temporary redness and inflammation. Always do your research - be it in the form of reviews or the impact of a product's ingredients - prior to purchasing any skincare product or specifically formulated spot treatment.
