Scrap the saying 'nothing tastes as good as skinny feels'

Food for thought: how about we scrap the saying 'nothing tastes as good as skinny feels' in favour of nothing tastes as good as feeling happy, healthy and confident in our own skin feels!?

Here is yet another exaggerated example of how manipulative manufacturers have used a set of scales - a set of scales that force men, women and children to fixate on an inaccurate figure that fluctuates - to promote this warped world's perception of the 'perfect' physique - a skeletal bag of bones that is far from the strong and healthy silhouette that we should all be striving for.

Although it may be tempting to use these as a method of motivation, investing in such a stupid set of scales will not only intensify your insecurities, but fuel your fear of 'failing' to flaunt a flawless figure each time that you face a saying that triggers toxic thoughts of body negativity - particularly if your weekly (or daily!) weigh in indicates that you have piled on the pounds.

Instead of striving for a 'skinny' silhouette, start believing that your body is beautiful no matter what its shape or size - even if your wider waistline wobbles, your touche isn't toned and you can't achieve a chiseled core - because living a life of health and happiness at a size 12-14 is far more realistic than struggling to sustain a 'skinny' silhouette that resembles a beaten brain and a bag of bones...
