Weight loss tip: you don't have to ditch dessert
Weight loss tip...
If the peer pressure that stems from seasonal shindigs leaves you struggling to say no to demolishing a delicious dessert, maintain the motivation to wait for 20 minutes - the time it takes the human brain to register if we've consumed enough calories - and if you've failed to fill your belly, opt for something sensible such as a fruit based dessert, or something small such as a scoop of sorbet (or ice-cream!) which will satisfy your sweet tooth without sacrificing your silhouette.
Top tip: although most restaurants offer mini desserts, sharing with a friend is a fantastic way to slash the sweet stuff, cut the calories and consume a fraction of the fat of a full dessert if your chosen restaurant can't tempt you with tiny treats.
