Weight loss doesn't stem from waving a magic wand

Food for thought: a slender silhouette doesn't stem from waving a magic weight loss wand that reiterates the words 'rapid results' - it stems from stepping outside of our comfort zone to create the change that fuels our fear of a future free from comfort and control...

Although our fight against the flab may force us to experience an array of erratic emotions, fighting the feeling of fear and failure is part of the painful process that creates physical and psychological change.

In fact, battling a beaten brain that's tormented by toxic thoughts of negativity is not only essential for the effective elimination of excess weight - it allows us to pin point and prevent the psychological problems that may push us to the point of procrastination (think shattered self-esteem, a craving for control and a fear of failure) - but it's also paramount for personal growth - finding the strength to face our fears allows us to work on our weight loss weaknesses in order to overcome the obstacles that may sabotage success.

Before you beat yourself up by dwelling on the difficult days that diminish determination, remember that the reality of change doesn't resemble the comfort and control found in familiar feelings, but a roller-coaster of exaggerated emotions that stem from stepping outside of your comfort zone to create a future that's free from the unhealthy habits that you've learnt to turn to when times get tough, and you crave the comfort of control - the comfort and control that can't be found in the unfamiliar feelings that are triggered by the change and commitment of a sensible and successful weight loss solution.

Although it may be tempting to resort back to your unhealthy habits when you realise how hard it is to eliminate excess weight without the aid of an abundance of pills and products, it's important to acknowledge that every 'bad' day builds a better day, and every better day has the ability to build a better you, by driving your determination to destroy the detrimental habits that hinder your health and happiness - you just need to possess the patience to persevere, and the strength to push through the painful psychological process that realistic weight loss is renowned for resembling.

Top tip: by swapping speedy weight loss solutions for the will to work hard, we'll find ourselves with the strength to focus on the future that scares us, craving the challenges that change us and maintaining the motivation to mould a healthier body and a happier brain as our each and every effort encourages us to believe in our capacity for change - the change that has slowly stemmed from our confidence to remain consistent, without relying on the ridiculous regimes that reiterate the words 'rapid results'.
Admittedly, the effective elimination of excess weight won't be easy, but I can assure you that it is far easier than dedicating every ounce of energy to a lifetime of dangerous diets that will destroy your weight, waistline and well-being, whilst preventing you from digging deep to determine why you favour stupid and speedy, over sensible and successful.
