Spruce up your salad with tasty tomatoes

If you're struggling to satisfy your stomach with a simple salad - a common concern that stems from ditching delicious dishes for more 'diet friendly' foods - these tasty tomatoes will not only tickle your taste buds without widening your waistline, but tame the temptation to turn to a sugar fuelled sauce for flavour.
To create these cheesy tomatoes, simply slice the tips off of a selection of cherry tomatoes, scoop out the pulp using a small spoon and stuff with a cheese of your choice (opt for reduced fat if you're watching your weight and/or are prone to scoffing super sized portions!) before garnishing with a bit of basil (or a herb of your choice).
Top tip: this cheap and convenient combination can also be enjoyed as a speedy snack which is simple, sensible (providing that you don't pile on the cheese which has a tendency to be high in calories, salt and saturated fat) and satisfying on a physical and psychological scale.
