Nailing It: Streak Free Enamel Application

Creating tantalizing talons can be as simple as a blemish free coat of polish, but with flawless enamel application a tricky skill to master, many of us struggle when it comes to achieving polish perfection.

A great tip to a streak free enamel application is to simply practice applying no more than four strokes per nail.
Not only will this prevent an unnecessary 'over working' of the enamel, but banish the unsightly streaks created as wet polish is applied to enamel which has already started to dry due to application taking too long.

Remember that mistakes happen. Do not attempt to rectify any visible imperfections as enamel is drying. Instead, continue to finish the remaining nails and return to the problem nail once it is completely dry. You can now decide whether to disguise the mistake, or remove the enamel and start again.
